Paragon has experience in numerous medical fields, including cardiology, urology, dermatology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology, vascular intervention, physical therapy and general medicine. We have particular expertise in the following categories:

 

Minimally-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic devices
We have developed laparoscopic instruments including staplers, clip appliers, clamping devices, hemostasis devices and stitching devices. We also have experience with flexible endoscopic devices such as biopsy forceps, cauterizers, novel accessories and complete flexible endoscopes and have developed and manufactured liposuction instruments and interventional catheter systems.

 

Electromedical instrumentation
We have designed and produced patient monitoring systems using EMG, ECG, EEG and pulse oximetry. We also have expertise developing radio frequency (RF) ablation systems for cardiac and vascular applications, and helped create several novel drug delivery systems.

 

Wireless medical devices
We have designed and developed implantable sensors and telemetry systems, radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, and wireless-guided capsules.

 

Biotech instruments
We have produced instruments such as blood processors, immunoassay instruments, automated reagent processing systems, DNA analyzers and cell processing instruments.
