| Cal MedTech Wins MDEA Award for Pulsar Generator | ||||
| California MedTech has been honored as a recipient of the 2009 Medical Device Excellence Award (MDEA). The award was given in recognition of Cal MedTech's development and manufacturing of Peak Surgical's Pulsar electrosurgery system. The Pulsar system provides clinicians with the exacting control of a scalpel with the coagulation benefits of traditional electrosurgery, but without the collateral thermal damage that normally accompanies RF-based electrosurgery. The award was received during ceremonies held in New York City during MD&M East on June 10, 2009. | ||||
